Who hero John says sci-do.

DOCTOR Who star John Barrowman kilted up to wed his gay lover yesterday before dashing off to appear in panto.

John, who plays Captain Jack Harkness in sci-fi spinoff Torchwood, took time out from fighting aliens for the civil partnership ceremony to architect Scott Gill.

But then it was back to work as he left the bash at a posh Cardiff hotel to play Jack and the Beanstalk.

Glasgow-born John, 38, who later moved to America, said: "The ceremony is because we have the right to be recognised as a couple." He and Scott, 42 - his partner of 16 years - both wore a sprig of lucky heather.

Now that'll stop the Daleks.
