WhiteFox, a drone security company pioneering safe integration of drones into society, has announced it is partnering with BlueForce and EXO Tactik to launch a year-long drone security trial at YUL Montreal-Trudeau International Airport (IATA: YUL, ICAO: CYUL), the company said.
The systems will gather invaluable information throughout the trial, relaying it back to the airport and the companies involved. The systems will be vigorously tested by the strains of an international airport, as well as the significant environmental stresses of a punishing Canadian winter.
Headquartered in California, WhiteFox's mission is to keep the sky open for responsible pilots by creating solutions that advance drone technology for a better world.
BlueForce was founded by two retired law enforcement personnel that built the UAS/C-UAS program for the RCMP in Canada. They have the depth of knowledge and breadth of experience to help clients make critical UAS/C-UAS decisions when failure is not an option.
EXO Tactik is a UAV operator specializing in public safety and municipal services. Their mission is to support the work of public servants and emergency responders to achieve more for their citizens.
ADM Aeroports de Montreal is the airport authority for the Greater Montreal area responsible for the management, operation and development of YUL Montreal-Trudeau International Airport and the YMX International Aerocity of Mirabel.
