White paper examines donor motivations.
Converge Consulting has released a new study about alumni attitudes and motivations when donating to colleges and universities. "Findings from the Field: The Donor Motivation Study in Practice" is the second in a series of white papers presented in alliance with CASE.
The study continues Converge's previous research on donor motivation and attitudes that classified alumni in three categories: Champions, Friends, and Acquaintances.
Since that first report, Converge worked with colleges and universities to identify the best ways to reach out to these groups and learn about the types of philanthropies which they support.
The new white paper looks at how the donor motivation study has been put into practice at specific institutions throughout the United States.
