White flies still around.

White flies still around: The annual onslaught of pesky and annoying white flies continues to rile Tehranis despite efforts by the city government to exterminate them or to drive them away. The white flies, some as small as a twelfth of an inch long, have plagued the capital for several recent summers. The municipality pledged to take them on. Spraying trees with pesticide from trucks appears to work, but only along main streets since the trucks can't get down all those Tehran alleys. Pruning branches doesn't seem to have worked. Yellow sticky papers were wrapped around tree trunks recently with no noticeable impact.
