Whinging letters will not change a thing.

Provided by

What is it going to take for you all to realise that in the grand scheme of Dubai, you really are irrelevant? Apart from a constant stream of cash, that is. Salik this, rent that blah blah blah. It is with disappointing ease that you can predict the letters that will be printed each morning. Seriously, you bleat each and every day about this and that, but really, nobody cares - at least not anybody that could do anything about it, anyway.

You don't like it, simple - leave. Go back to what ever country you had left to come here from in the first place. Over 85 per cent of us here are guests - we will never be anything else. We can't vote, and neither will we ever be able to. We will never have a say in the way this place is run. Never. If you think that writing wordy letters to the local rag is going to change a thing, I am afraid you are sadly deluded.
