Which degree should you choose?

I really enjoyed reading Thomas Weil's article on "Which Degree Should You Choose?" in the March issue of The Physician Executive (Volume 23, issue # 3). Although I am currently completing a Master's in Medical Management (MMM) degree, I have found my only value as an Assistant Chief of Staff at the University of Alabama at Birmingham is my evolving understanding of clinical-fiscal performance methodologies and my ability to negotiate for the benefit of the system among health professionals--Weil's points! Thanks for publishing Weil's excellent overview.

Sincerely yours,

John A. Smith, MD, PhD

Director, Division of Laboratory Medicine
