Where to mark St Patrick's Day.

CARDIFF will be celebrating St Patrick's Day with a host of Irish themed events. So if you're planning on painting the city green tomorrow, here's some ideas of where you should go.

Paddy's Club Crawl Get into the Celtic spirit with Paddy's Club Crawl in the city centre from 7pm. Wristbands are PS8, with the drinking route encompassing eight venues - The Woodville, Gassy Jacks, Varsity, Pryzm, Glam, Tiger Tiger, Soda and DC.

If you complete the crawl, there's a pot of gold waiting and the chance to win a holiday to Ibiza. Don't forget to wear green!

St Patrick's Day at Walkabout The Aussie bar is also joining in the Irish fun on March 17 between noon and 3am. Get a free St Patrick's Day hat with every pint of Guinness and enjoy live music featuring top Irish tunes.

Expert Irish whiskey tasting It's all about tipple tasting at 10 Feet Tall on St Patrick's Day. Sample the delights of Irish whiskey and enjoy a selection of traditional dishes and canapes. The food and drink event starts at 7pm, with tickets costing PS10 available at St Patrick's Day at O'Neill's As expected, the Irish pub is celebrating on March 17 and in the run up to the big day Guinness is PS1.99 a pint, there's limited edition whiskey to be tasting and on St Patrick's Day itself, there will be a pot o' gold treasure hunt to win PS250.
