Where's the punishment?
THREE cheers to Joan McTigue for putting in a nutshell (The Gazette 01.08.15). What a life they have in prison - three meals a day cooked for them.
Will someone tell us why they are there - it isn't for good deeds is it? It's a pity this country doesn't take a leaf out of America's rules, they wouldn't be so keen to go there, and it's mostly after committing crime after crime. We in the North-east have the softest judges because it's mostly a slap on the wrist they get.
No wonder people are saying crime is getting worse.
Pity they don't have a few pensioners on the jury, they would sort them out.
