What to WATCH.

Paralympic Games 2012 Tonight (C4, 7.30pm) The coverage throughout the day starts at 7am, and the sport continues throughout the day, but this evening will give you the chance to look back on the sport from the day if you missed it and to see what's happening live. Clare Balding and Ade Adepitan introduce day nine of the Games, featuring athletics at the Olympic Stadium, swimming at the Aquatics Centre and wheelchair basketball at the North Greenwich Arena. Oscar Pistorius is in the men''s T44 400m heats, and there's a chance for Sophia Warner to win a medal in the women''s T35 100m final. Mickey Bushell is among the favourites for gold in the men''s T53 200m and Richard Whitehead has high hopes of success in the men''s T42 100m final, all amongst many sports happening tonight.

Miranda (BBC1, 8.30pm) In her quest to enjoy being young, free and single, Miranda books herself into a hotel for a holiday - the hotel across the road. She befriends helpful porter Jason and conference organiser Colin, and as her stay goes on, becomes a new woman.

Parade's End (BBC2, 9.30pm) Benedict Cumberbatch stars in this gritty drama, as Christopher becomes the subject of malicious rumours. As the vicious gossip spreads, a tragedy occurs. Valentine moves to London, and Sylvia remains troubled by news of the war, though she finds a welcome distraction in a new admirer. Elsewhere, Edith and Macmaster are planning to start a new life together.
