What to WATCH.

Primeval (ITV1, 5.25pm) The drama continues as the team fights to prevent the destruction of the Earth. The ARC is coming under threat - Connor wakes up in toxic surroundings and damaging winds, which seem to be the remains of the devestated future Earth, and living on it is a terrible creature, a mix of many things, including man. Go back to the present time, and Philip the maniac is making sure this beast can exist by engineering the chain of events that lead to this. Abby and Matt try to appeal to his better senses, but the question is whether he has any.

The Hollow Crown (BBC2, 8pm) This is one of the better adaptations of Shakespeare - TV directors tend to have a tough time because they can't suspend disbelief in the same way a theatre can. You have to see it to believe it generally, but this does a good job of setting the mood without seeing all the many thousands of men running about. In this, Henry is contesting the throne of France. Henry's army takes on Harfleur, and culminates in battling the French at Agincourt.

TV's Biggest Blockbusters (ITV1, 8.35pm) TV about TV - a celebration of the best of the box over time. This looks at the classic moments of TV, including Del and Rodney finally becoming millionaires in Only Fools and Horses, and Torvill and Dean at the 1994 Winter Olympics. It also takes in the 1966 World Cup final, and of course looks at one of the greatest moments of last year - the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate.
