What to WATCH.

Coronation Street (ITV1, 7.30pm & 8.30pm) Life is not good for Carla at the moment, her life seems to be falling apart at the seams and she can't do anything about it. There is more bad news for her tonight when she learns that the charges have been dropped against Frank. Meanwhile, Dr Matt has had enough of Tommy trying to muscle in on Tina and warns him to stay away.

Autumnwatch Live (BBC2, 8.30pm) Looking out the window at the falling leaves and the swirling wind, it's obvious that Autumn has arrived with a vengeance. The Autumnwatch team are here to show us that it's not all doom and gloom, and Autumn is not just the next step to winter, it is actually a fascinating time of year and the team give us an insight into some of the biggest autumn events. From migration to the tracking of hibernal visitors such as redwings and fieldfares, as well as some spectacular footage from the badger set and fox family.

DCI Banks (ITV1, 9pm) Banks is sent to London tonight to try to discover what has happened to the daughter of the Chief Super, he's worried that she has disappeared just before her A-levels. Banks thinks there's nothing to worry about but is disturbed to find her living with a local gangster. Meanwhile, Annie is furious that she has been left to deal with a case that has escalated into a murder inquiry. It is another gripping story from the writers of the brilliant series, and we won't find out how two cases are connected until next week.
