The Great British Bake Off 2019 airs tonight (August 27) at 8pm on Channel 4.

It is also available to watch live on 4oD and will be available on the catch-up service following the end of the episode.

Episode 1 is the classic Cake Week and the bakers must tackle a complex fruit cake, a retro Technical, and a Showstopper that takes the bakers back to their childhoods.
