What Pia Wurtzbach wants to hear from PNoy.
The Philippines' bet to the forthcoming Miss Universe pageant, Pia Wurtzbach, is waiting for President Benigno 'PNoy' Aquino III to wish her good luck.
On "Mornings @ ANC," she explained, "His (President Aquino) 'good luck' is actually really lucky, because he wished Bea Rose Santiago 'good luck' (when she competed) for Miss International (in 2013) and she won, so I'm waiting for my 'good luck.'"
Pia added, "A 'good luck' from him is definitely appreciated..."
The 26-year-old Filipino-German beauty was romantically linked to the President early this year. Pia, in fact, admitted exchanging text messages with him.
"I don't think he'll take interest in me if he didn't find me interesting or fun to talk to," she said, flattered.
Asked what she thinks PNoy saw in her, Pia surmised he might've liked her inquisitive nature.
"He is surrounded by people who are so serious all the time... So whenever I talk to him, I'm brave with my questions, like I ask him questions that maybe other people would be afraid to ask him. Like his favorite pastime, what kind of music he listens to... little things. I guess it caught him by surprise. So that's when the casual, fun conversation started," said she.
Pia maintained she and PNoy remain friends.
Meanwhile, Pia, who was known prior as Pia Romero when she was a Star Magic contract artist in the '90s, said she's thinking of returning to show business.
She used to appear in such shows on ABS-CBN as "K2Bu" with Shaina Magdayao, Angelene Aguilar and Bea Alonzo.
"I really enjoyed showbiz, honestly. I am considering going back to acting after all of this because I'm only gonna be reigning for a year, and another year if I win Miss Universe... So acting is always gonna be there. I've always liked it, and I grew up doing it so I find myself going back to acting definitely," she said.
The Miss Universe pageant happens Dec. 20 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
