What In the World Is Graphic Design?

This site, sponsored by the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA), is intended primarily for high school students interested in pursuing a career in graphic design. It consists of three major sections that cover everything from the role of graphic design in contemporary society, selecting a school that offers graphic design training, salary issues, and where to find work as a graphic designer nowadays. If you teach about graphic design in your classroom, this site will provide a good introduction to the field.
