What's going on?

This is in response to the article 'SMEs boost as Majaal set to double facilities' (GDN, August 1).

We must express our surprise at seeing that Abdula'al Construction Services is able to take on a new project, given that its flagship project at Marina Reef is still incomplete more than four years after it was started. A large number of investors are still anxiously awaiting delivery of their apartments at Marina Reef the company has failed to finish.

Should the company, which holds 49 per cent of shares in Marina Reef Real Estate Development Company, not be made to finish this project which was due for completion in April 2010, before embarking on a new adventure?

They may re-consider their statement about the company's ability to deliver good results unless by that they mean concrete skeletons left to crumble in the high temperatures, sand storms, high humidity and sea climate of Bahrain.

Very disgusted indeed
