Wet threat challenge; EDUCATION.

KIDS have been learning all about the risks of bungee jumping but their only real danger was a mild soaking.

Pupils from Perry Beeches in Great Barr, Barr Beacon High in Great Barr, and St Thomas More Catholic in Willenhall, were challenged to calculate the correct length of bungee cord needed to safely complete a leap.

The fun exercise, held at Birmingham City University's campus in Perry Barr, was organised as a maths challenge and the only threat they were literally under, if their calculations proved wrong, was a wet face if the water balloon dangling from the rope hit them and burst.
