Westwood No! Lee blows lead.

Lee Westwood, five shots ahead of the field with four holes of his third round to play, ran into disaster and had to be content with a share of the lead in the Turespana Masters in Gran Canaria.

Westwood shot 68 for an aggregate of 203 and is joint leader with Argentinian Jose Coceres, who was round in a brilliant 65.

But it was only a change of wind that prevented the Worksop youngster from forging ahead.

He had just three-putted the 15th but his real problems came at the 206-yard 16th.

Just as he hit his approach shot with a four iron the wind changed direction and the ball finished in an unplayable lie and he had no option but to go back and play three off the tee.

Westwood and Coceres finished two shots ahead of Spaniard Jose Maria Olazabal who also shot 68 to close on 205.
