Westerhope & Newbiggin Hall.

Come along to our monthly Saturday night sequence dance on August 29, at St Mark's Church Hall, Trevelyan Drive. 7.30-10.30pm. Dances to suit everyone. This month it is an American Fate Supper. For more information contact Norman on (0191) 241 4987.

A Family Fun and play day will commence on Friday, August 20, from 11am-3pm, at the Gala Field. There are plenty of activities from 10.30am. Mr Ollie in NBH Library (Sure Start) grand opening (Gala Field), treasure hunt (Boys Club), Jazz Band from 1-3pm, football coaching (Gala Field) 2pm, tea dance (Boys Club) and 2.55pm balloon release.

CONGRATULATIONS to Boys Club - it is their 40th year at Newbiggin Hall. The summer play and youth centre also starts on the 20th and all activities are free. Why not come along and join in as there are many more events. For more information contact Clare Rutherford on (0191) 271 3914.

SEQUENCE Dancing, come and support your own community centre on Newbiggin Hall. Large dance floor, from 7.30-10pm. Dancing to suit everyone in a nice friendly atmosphere. New children's classes for ballroom, Latin, old time, line dancing, and cheer leading will be commencing on Thursday, September 9, from 5.45pm until 7.15pm.
