WestStart, NAC to Host Clean Heavy-duty Vehicles Conference.
The conference is scheduled to open on February 25 with a session titled "Responding to Government Regulations in Changing Times," moderated by California Air Resources Board (CARB) chairman Alan Lloyd.
The following day, the event will open with "Drivers of Change and the Challenges We Face," moderated by WestStart president and CEO John Boesel, followed by sessions titled "Advanced Technologies and Solutions for Non-road Vehicles," "Advanced Technologies and Solutions -- Hybrids to Fuel Cells" and "Fleet Users Perspective on New Technologies." Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) National Vehicle and Fuel Emissions Laboratory director Charles Gray is scheduled to deliver the day's keynote address.
On the final day of the conference, the sessions to be offered include "Fuel Providers: Meeting the Supply and Infrastructure Challenges," "Idle Management Strategies for Heavy-duty Vehicles" and "Heavy-duty Diesel In-use Strategies."
