West Boylston Police Log.

The following is a sampling of the West Boylston police log. During the week of Oct. 6 through 12, officers responded to nine alarms and four motor vehicle accidents. The ambulance was dispatched 27 times.

Monday, Oct. 6

9:35 a.m.: Campground Road, summons served.

10:43 a.m.: Worcester Street, officer recovered a dog that had run after deer while being walked.

1:06 p.m.: Hartwell Street, disruptive student.

2:04 p.m.: Shrewsbury and Maple streets, truck blocking the road.

2:59 p.m.: West Boylston Street, 911 misdial from Ernie's Car Wash.

3:28 p.m.: Pierce Street, open door at the VFW Post.

4:20 p.m.: Hartwell Street, abusive student at the Hartwell Learning Center, mental health issue.

4:48 p.m.: Crescent Street, ambulance needed at the football field for a player who fractured his leg.

Tuesday, Oct. 7

10:33 a.m.: Hartwell Street, disturbance.

11:48 a.m.: West Boylston Street, ambulance/Advanced Life Support needed at Salter College.

2:37 p.m.: West Boylston Street, shoplifting at Walmart.

4:30 p.m.: Franklin and Henry streets, well-being check requested.

4:55 p.m.: Prospect Street, motor vehicle accident, patient taken to the hospital.

5:25 p.m.: Worcester Street, resident at the police station reporting a scam.

Wednesday, Oct. 8

3:30 a.m.: Briarwood Circle, ambulance needed at Knollwood Nursing Home for a patient in respiratory distress.

11:33 a.m.: Princeton Avenue, disturbance.

1:39 p.m.: Hartwell Street, disturbance at Goddard Learning Center.

4:48 p.m.: Worcester and Goodale streets, loose dog, animal control officer notified.

9:32 p.m.: Elm Street possible gun shots.

Thursday, Oct. 9

7:01 a.m.: Paul X. Tivnan Drive, ambulance needed at the Worcester County House of Correction for a patient having a cardiac problem, Medstar responded.

8:52 a.m.: Beaman Street, illegal trash dumping.

11:23 a.m.: West Boylston Street, ambulance needed at Salter College for a person with shortness of breath.

1:23 p.m.: Fairbanks Street, burglary of tools.

3:37 p.m.: Western Avenue, neighbor blowing leaves into resident's yard.

3:39 p.m.: West Boylston Street, suspicious male at Jungle Jim's.

4:41 p.m.: Interstate 190, vehicle in the median.

Friday, Oct. 10

10:55 a.m.: Worcester Street, people in the road.

11:09 a.m.: Evans Road, credit card fraud.

12:44 p.m.: West Boylston Street, suspicious vehicle.

12:56 p.m.: West Boylston Street, shoplifter at Walmart.

3:27 p.m.: Goodale Street, loss of water pressure, Water Department notified.

3:57 p.m.: West Boylston Street, possible shoplifting at Walmart.

4:05 p.m.: Campground Road, dog attacked by neighbor's dog.

4:27 p.m.: West Boylston Street, suspicious male.

6:36 p.m.: Prospect Street, ambulance needed for an infant having an allergic reaction.

10:43 p.m.: Peachtree Street, suspicious vehicle.

Saturday, Oct. 11

4:48 a.m.: Sterling Street, no water at B&A Bait and Tackle; Water District notified.

5:39 a.m.: River Road, vehicle parked.

8:52 a.m.: Crescent Street, carbon monoxide investigation at Major Edwards Elementary School.

10:11 a.m.: West Boylston Street, larceny from a motor vehicle, one arrested.

11:09 p.m.: Crescent and Goodale streets, person screaming.

Sunday, Oct. 12

7:45 a.m.: Worcester, mutual aid for an injured prisoner at the Worcester Police Department.

3:02 p.m.: Yorktown Road, break-in at a residence.

9:03 p.m.: Stillwater Heights, fire alarm.

Arrest

John F. Herr IV, 35, of 31 Waterman Road, Auburn, was arrested on Saturday, Oct. 11, by sergeants Francis Glynn and Matthew Saunders and charged with two counts of receiving a stolen credit card, shoplifting by asportation, breaking and entering a motor vehicle in the daytime, larceny of property valued over $250, personal identity fraud, signing a credit card without authorization and receiving stolen property valued over $250.
