Wenger Acquires Stage Equipment Provider Secoa.
16 November 2016 - Owatonna, Minnesota-based performing arts and education service provider Wenger Corp. has acquired the assets of Champlin, Minnesota-based stage equipment provider Secoa, Inc., the company said.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Wenger, and its subsidiary J.R. Clancy, already provide a range of solutions for the performing arts industry.
The company provides products and services for performing arts, music education and athletic facilities.
Secoa manufactures, supplies, and installs theatrical rigging equipment, including manual counterweight, motorised winch, and fire curtain rigging systems; orchestra cells and auditorium ceiling panels.
It also supplies orchestra pit fillers and lifts; fixed audience seating; pipe and wire grids; and stage draperies, acoustic curtains, and curtain track systems for professional, educational, and community venues. The company also distributes and installs lighting systems and electrical distribution devices.
