Welsh Meat Company.

Wales' leading farmer's co-operative, the Welsh Meat Company, has appointed a new acting General Manager to lead them through the next phase of technical growth within the company.

David Nicholson, of Ffos-y-Ffin in Aberaeron. was formerly the managing director of Oriel Jones & Son in Llanybydder, and will take over at the Welsh Meat Company following the departure of former Managing Director Jane James.

Prior to managing Oriel Jones, David worked as UK Quality Manager on Heinz products at CCFRA, where he established the European Food Safety Inspection Service (EFSIS).
