Wells Fargo (NYSE: WFC) and its recently acquired unit, Wachovia, are to conduct a mortgage prevention workshop.

The companies are sponsoring a foreclosure prevention workshop on Tuesday and Wednesday at the Baltimore Convention Centre. Employees of Wells Fargo would attend to the needs of participants who are having trouble making mortgage or loan equity payments.

The bank is offering loan modifications or other options to customers.
