Weiss delivers 55,000 s/f of prime medical space.

Englewood Medical Center has appointed Weiss Realty of Moonachie, New Jersey as exclusive broker to lease 1,450 sf of medical office space, immediately available at 103 River Road, Edgewater.

The site enjoys close proximity to the ever growing residential communities of Edgewater, nearby No. Bergen and the Weehawkin riverfront communities.

This new, exclusive listing underscores the confidence the medical community places in Weiss Realty.

"We have enjoyed great recent success by specializing in the sale and leasing of medical office space, "Jaime Weiss, president of Weiss Realty explained.

"In just two years, Weiss Realty has successfully leased and sold almost 40,000 sq ft at the Kennedy Medical Center, Union City, and North Bergen Medical Center to such prominent tenants as: Bayada Nurses, one of the nation's largest home care providers; Retina Associates, a major tri-state eye care firm; Lab Corp of America; St Joseph's Children's Hospital; Jersey City Medical Center, Garden State Behavioral Health Services, and Palisades Medical Center.

Weiss' recent successes have led to Fred Fish and Nathan Shmalo, principals in TREECO, The Real Estate Equity Company, a major Englewood developer, to appoint Weiss as exclusive agent for the proposed 27,744 sq ft medical/commercial office building at the Palisades Court Shopping Center, a highly successful 100,000 sq ft retail development project in Englewood.

One of the most attractive and successful projects of its kind in the state, Palisades Court is part of the overall award winning downtown redevelopment plan.

"The Englewood area is booming," Weiss stated. "It offers the conveniences of a city, but with a hometown ambiance."

In addition to its access to Route 4, Interstate 80 and the George Washington Bridge, it will become even more attractive with the opening of the Senator Frank Lautenberg Secaucus rail transfer station.

And, when the light rail extends to Englewood, it will also connect with NY Waterways' ferry service in Weehawken to NYC and to Hoboken, where commuters will be able to transfer to PATH trains to Penn Station.

Weiss continued: "The Palisades Court office building is one of the few office projects planned directly with the light rail station in mind.

"While we won't build on spec, we are negotiating with several medical and corporate tenants who recognize the value of its outstanding location."
