With the bride's socially-aspirant mum (Miriam Margolyes) determined to make this the wedding of the century, all involved face soaring stress levels, not helped by skeletons that come clattering from closets. There are about a dozen laughs throughout, with long stretches in between, but at least Punch makes the most of the hit-and-miss script. Meanwhile, Robert Webb as the groom is coasting along on autopilot, while Hound's puppy-dog enthusiasm wears awfully thin, awfully quickly.
