And, as the days draw in, for us in the northern hemisphere at least, here's something to while away the season of mists and mellow jokefulness. Have a look at www.coolopticalillusions.com. I particularly liked the Ambigram, the [pounds sterling]1.00 joke telephone calls--which come courtesy of some bloke in Bristol--and the build-it-yourself impossible triangle, among other optical illusions. The latter, say some, is what architecture is all about. OK, a bit. No. Please. It's not worth writing in.
