Website for homeschooling families.

COUNTRYSIDE: I enjoy reading COUNTRYSIDE tremendously as I am one of those who is tied to an urban environment until retirement, but have already purchased my acreage to homestead on once I do.

One of the organizations I work with is the New Mexico Solar Energy Association. Homeschooling families will find their website very useful as it contains a comprehensive curriculum designed to work with grades K-12 on energy production in general and renewable energy in particular. The curriculum is offered free to the public. Homeschoolers in New Mexico can also request that NMSEA visit their location with an instructor and interactive demonstration materials. NMSEA requires a minimum of 30 people to be gathered in one place for the demonstration, and homeschooling families have gotten together in the past for this to occur. Their website is: www.nmsea.org.--Rose Marie Kern, Solar Ranch, PO Box 9466, Albuquerque, NM 87119; 505-417-6790; fax 505-286-4997
