Combination of World-Class Web Design and Support Services With Award-

Winning Web Site Building Products and Services Creates Industry's

Leading Partner-Focused Small Business Web Site Services Provider

Website Pros, a leading provider of Web site design and support services, today announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire substantially all of the assets of NetObjects, Inc (OTCBB:NETO), creating the industry's leading provider of Web site building, design and support services for major partners that target small businesses' customers worldwide.

The acquisition of NetObjects allows Website Pros to offer the industry's leading platforms for delivering value-added services through trusted brands- NetObjects Matrix and NetObjects Fusion to major partners worldwide. Website Pros is the leading provider of Website design and support services and has built over 40,000 Web sites for small business customers of key partners such as Dell, Office Depot, and Verizon.

Since 1995, NetObjects has pioneered Web site building with over five million Web sites built using NetObjects products and services. Over 10 million copies of NetObjects Fusion have been bundled by the industry's major brands such as Dell, Deutsche Telekom, Earthlink, Hewlett Packard, and IBM. NetObjects recently launched NetObjects Matrix, the next generation online platform for providing critical Web services to small businesses through partners.

"Website Pros has been in a unique position to evaluate Web site building platforms," said David Brown, chairman and CEO of Website Pros. "As we worked with our 26 Enterprise Partners to help them evaluate and offer technology solutions, it became clear that NetObjects had the only platform powerful enough to meet the demands of our partners and their small business customers today and well into the future."

In development for over two years, NetObjects Matrix is a next-generation platform for delivering branded small business Web Services solutions through distribution partners. Since its market launch earlier this year, leading companies such as IBM, HP, Telecom Italia, and Strato AG have selected NetObjects Matrix to help them deliver Web services programs aimed at cultivating stronger relationships with their small business customer segments.

"Website Pros is now the only company in the market that can deliver the end-to-end, technology and services solution our partners need to tap the growth of the small business Web services market," said Brown. "We can now offer Website Pro's award-winning customer care and website design solutions and the NetObjects technology platform in one seamless, integrated package that helps our partners improve customer satisfaction, loyalty, and fuel revenue growth."

The acquisition, subject to customary closing conditions, has been approved by the Board of Directors of both companies, and is expected to close by November 30, 2001. Website Pros is working to ensure a smooth transition for NetObjects Fusion and Matrix customers and partners. More information about the NetObjects transition can be found at
