WebMD (New York) has entered into an agreement to acquire Summex Corp. (Indianapolis, IN), a provider of health and wellness programs that include online and offline health risk assessments, lifestyle education and telephonic health coaching, for $30 million in cash with an additional $10 million to be paid over a two year period contingent on performance goals.

WebMD (New York) has entered into an agreement to acquire Summex Corp. (Indianapolis, IN), a provider of health and wellness programs that include online and offline health risk assessments, lifestyle education and telephonic health coaching, for $30 million in cash with an additional $10 million to be paid over a two year period contingent on performance goals. Established in 1993, Summex helps corporations and health plans reduce costs, decrease absenteeism and improve the overall health of employees and plan members.
