Web Advertising Comes of Age With SNOW; SNOW Positions Brand Names On Every Home Page.

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 8, 1996--Servonet Inc. today unveils SNOW: a networked application that allows companies to display continual messages at every site on the World Wide Web.

SNOW creates a new class of Web advertising. SNOW impressions position ads in the control section of the Web Browser. The ads are present no matter what site is being viewed.

Today "banner impressions" purchased at popular sites are the only way to advertise products or promote Web Sites. "The problem," says CEO Mehran Azmoudeh, "is that there is no information about the demographics of those who view your ad or their reactions to your message. You have no way of measuring its effect on your sales or brand recognition. We are very excited about the marketing opportunities SNOW brings to advertisers."

With SNOW, advertisers create a direct link to consumers. Advertisers can now accompany Web users during their entire browsing sessions giving the advertiser the opportunity to collect valuable market data never available before.

Positioning is SNOW's strongest attribute. Brand names can now take advantage of SNOW to ensure a presence on every computer connected to the Internet.

Publications and the news media will be significantly affected by SNOW. Web users will subscribe to a publication's version of SNOW which will help them browse the Web according to their tastes and lifestyles.

Advertising & Marketing executives are invited to preview SNOW at http://www.servonet.com.

Servonet Inc. is a consulting group headed by CEO Mehran Azmoudeh with headquarters in San Francisco, Calif., and branch offices in London, England.
