Weather or not.

Let the battle of the weather forecasters commence. The Midlands is in for its coldest February for 15 years with a big freeze setting in by the end of the week, according to Birmingham University scientists. Unlock the ice picks and prepare for considerable snowfalls.

The Met Office, though, must be looking at a different piece of seaweed. A spokesman, confusingly, suggested it could get colder or it could get warmer over the next ten days. It's a 50-50 bet, apparently.

Talk about sitting on the fence. The Met Men used to be indecisive before Michael Fish's famously missed hurricane, now they're not so sure.
