Wear the tops! MUSICAL TOTS DON RED FOR CAMPAIGN.
DANCING and jiggling, these happy tots are keeping their hearts healthy through their love of music.
Each week more than 120 youngsters get mums, dads and grandparents moving with the energetic dance and sing sessions.
This week the Jo Jingles classes will be a sea of red as they join in the British Heart Foundation's national Wear Red campaign.
The colourful initiative aims to raise awareness of the charity's work and how to keep your heart healthy.
Every year in the UK about 4,600 babies are born with congenital heart disease.
Helen Maltby runs the Jo Jingles sessions in and around Newcastle.
She said: "Our colours are red and yellow and when I read about the foundation's wear red week I thought we should join in.
"We had a really good turnout. I had red hair extensions and the kids had a lot of fun.
"The classes are very energetic and support the British Heart Foundation's work, promoting health in youngsters as well as their parents and grandparents."
Throughout the week donations will be taken at the classes with all proceeds going to charity. Helen, whose three-yearold daughter attends the sessions, runs Jo Jingles classes in Heaton, Gosforth, Newcastle and parts of Northumberland.
