Wear Products Names Trinity Preferred Supplier.

Trinity Industries, Inc., Dallas, has announced that its parts subsidiary, McConway & Torley Group, has been named the preferred manufacturing source of Wear Products L.L.C., Gary, Indiana.

In this exclusive relationship, McConway & Torley will provide castings from its newly renovated Anniston, Alabama foundry for Wear Products' longwall and open-pit mining products, which include: longwall conveyor sigma sections, flight bars, rack bars, bow bars and adapters. McConway & Torley will fabricate and deliver completed assemblies of Wear Products such as longwall conveyor pans and corresponding equipment.

"With Wear Products' innovative designs and McConway's strong foundry and fabrication abilities, mining customers will benefit tremendously from this partnership," said John Nussrallah, Trinity group president of Railcars. "This relationship also continues our drive to expand and diversify our company."
