We were chuffed to be the only [...].

We were chuffed to be the only publication in the whole, entire world to be granted an audience with 1D for this week's cover, fresh from a trip to Ghana for Comic Relief. The boys, who are doing this year's charity single, a cover of Blondie's One Way Or Another (which they will perform for the first time at the Brits on Wednesday), found it made their own problems seem like nothing. 'It put everything into perspective,' says Zayn (who has had his own share of worries of late). 'We're obviously aware we're lucky we get to do this amazing job in a band and have this crazy lifestyle. But we have problems in our lives we think are massive, and then you go out there and see people who are dealing with huge things, and it makes you think, "Actually maybe my problems aren't as big as I thought they were".' Go forth and buy their single, Directioners (as if you need to be told), and read more from the boys on page 6.

One Direction - or as some of us in this office think: would, would, would, so would, would.
