We need your support over planning permission.
Following the news of the City Council planning committee's decision to defer the new stadium development planning application, Warwickshire
County Cricket Club would invite members and supporters of the club, particularly those living in the vicinity of the ground, to write in to their local city councillors expressing their support of the Club's application for planning permission.
Despite being recommended for approval by the planning officers, the decision of the planning committee has serious consequences for the possibility of Edgbaston staging International cricket beyond 2011, with the resultant loss to the economy of the city of Birmingham. Contact should be made, either by e mail, or in writing, to the city's planning department, stating your support and if possible, your reasons why..
