IRISH rock stars Future Kings of Spain are set to inject some life in to the Late Late Show tonight with a special performance.
The hunky Dublin band have been nominated for THREE Meteor Ireland Music Awards and are due to blow Pat off the stage with a blinding rendition of hit single Guess Again. FKOS released their sophmore album Nervousystem to rave reviews last year.
The awards take place in Dublin's RDS on February 15 - the day their new single This Is The End' hits the shelves.
The band (Joey Wilson, Bryan McMahon, Anton Hegarty and Karl Hussey) are gearing up for a busy 2008 with gigs at the Tramps Ball on January 24 at UCC, Cork, Whelan's in Dublin on January 31, Dolan's Warehouse in Limerick on February 16 and Electric Venue in Waterford on February 29.
Nervousystem follows their self-titled debut which was released in Ireland, Japan, Australia and the UK through Independent UK Label Red Flag Records.
The group have already scooped Best New Band at the Meteor Ireland Music Awards in 2003, and performed with big name acts including Muse, The Strokes and Biffy Clyro.
Irish Daily Mirror editor John Kierans will also appear on tonight's show to discuss the subject of child killer Wayne O'Donoghue.
