We just can't get enough pancakes.

Paisley is 'flippin mad' about pancakes it has been revealed after the Asda supermarket in Linwood was found to have sold more pancakes than any other Asda store in the country.

Linwood was top of the supermarket's rankings with more than 382,000 pancakes sold on Pancake Day in 2018 - Ayr and Elgin followed closely in the table, with nine of the top 10 UK locations being in Scotland.

And to celebrate the town's love for pancakes ahead of Pancake Day, Asda Linwood's colleagues and customers have been putting their flipping skills to the test.

Asda Linwood's general store manager, Daniel McCabe, said: "It's fantastic to see Linwood as Scotland as well as the U.K.'s pancake capital.

"Every year our store is one of the top performers for Pancake Day sales so it's fantastic to see these treats are still a hit. Although there is always debate on which flavour is the best, our love of pancakes is something we all agree on."
