We got PM vote; Raith get PM's vote.

RAITH boss John McGlynn has revealed PM Gordon Brown took time out from the General Election campaigntowishhisfavouriteteam good luck in Sunday's Cup semi against Dundee United.

McGlynn hopes the club's most famous fan will celebrate a double victory in the coming weeks.

It is not known if Brown will be at Hampden at Sunday but McGlynn said: "I got a letter from the Prime Minister which complimented us on our achievements and wishing us good luck for the semi-final.

"So I sent him a letter back wishing him good luck in his campaign - actually I didn't.

"Who has a better chance of winning? I would like to think we both will win.

"I don't know if he's coming to Hampden. He's busy right now but if he's not there in body, he will be in spirit.

"The PM is always rooting for us. He is a big fan of this club."
