We can match big spenders.

BONNYRIGG boss Robbie Horn reckons his side's 3-1 win over East Stirling shows they have what it takes to match any of the big-spending title favourites.

The victory took Rose to the summit and Horn claims it bodes well for the rest of the league campaign.

He said: "We've been playing well but East Stirling fancied their chances coming through here. They are one of the favourites to win the league along with Kelty and East Kilbride but we showed we can be competitive.

"I'm not saying we'll win it but we showed we can compete with the top teams.

"There aren't expectations from the committee or fans and the pressure comes from the dressing room because we have a great bunch of players who are capable.

"East Stirling, Kelty and East Kilbride have all been big spenders so looking at it from the outside you'd think those three would be right up there.

"Money doesn't always buy success but the pressure is on those three teams especially and hopefully we can go under the radar a bit.

"For our first season to be in the top four or five would be a great achievement but at the moment we're keeping our feet firmly on the ground."

Lee Currie was Rose's hero with a double, including a great free-kick for the opener.

Mark Millar equalised but Currie struck again before George Hunter's clincher.

Kelty made it three wins out of three with a 5-0 thrashing of Civil Service Strollers with Nathan Austin hitting two. Scott Linton, Chris Dodd and Stuart Cargill got the others.

But champions East Kilbride slumped to a 3-1 loss at home to Caledonian Braves thanks to goals from Ross McNeill, David Sinclair and Jean Guy Lucas.

BSC Glasgow romped to a 5-0 victory over Dalbeattie Star with Tom Orr hitting a penalty double.

Late goals from Max Ashmore and Blair Atkinson gave Spartans a 2-0 win over Gala Fairydean Rovers.
