SCOTLAND still rules the world of whisky with 60 per cent of the planet's top brands made here.

Five top Scot t ish labels appear in The Power 100s top 20, an annual league table which ranks drinks brands.

Scotland's big names on the list include Johnnie Walker, Ballantine's and Chivas Regal.

And a total of 16 Scott ish brands are ranked, with new entries including Clan Campbell, William Lawson's and Clan MacGregor.

Johnnie Walker was named the world's leading whisky brand, beating Jack Daniel's and Jim Beam. The list is produced by brand value experts Intangible Business.
