We're so grateful to city's Orange Watch crew; Letters.

RE: The house fire at Outermarch Road, Radford, July 29.

To everyone at Radford Fire Station (Phil Hobday and, of course, all of Orange Watch).

Our family cannot begin to express our sincere gratitude to you all for the fabulous job you do and what you did for us on that very traumatic night.

The ease, compassion and utmost professionalism of the way you helped us, can not be expressed enough with words.

It is outrageous to our family that people who sit behind desks can decide to close fire stations.

They need to get from behind their desks and live in the real world and see the work fire crews do day after day.

You guys are truly amazing!

I hope our small voice along with other small voices will make one BIG voice and make the pen-pushers see the error of their ways.

Michelle, Pete, Scott, and George Cole, Outermarch Road, Coventry.
