We're obsessed with a sterile environment; LETTERS.

IT is good to hear that a shopper of Holyhead is looking after the interests of the local community.

He took it upon himself to expose a heinous crime committed in a chemist store. The crime was actually the staff, fussing over a tiny puppy. Well this had to be reported to the head office because, as you've guessed, of health and safety rules.

Perhaps some residents of a similar age to mine may remember a certain sweet shop where the cat had to be removed to gain access to your desired sweets. No health and safety then and I am a healthy, robust individual who did not grow up in a sterile environment.

What a sneaky, self important race we are becoming. What decent generous person would not fuss over a puppy.

People have become obsessed with cleanliness to their own detriment.
