Water relief folks! RAIN AT LAST.

Byline: By SEAN O'DOWD

BAKING-hot Ireland is set to cool down with RAIN over the next two weeks.

But don't pack away the sun cream just yet - because the weather will hot up again after the wet spell.

Forecasters say there is a "100 per cent chance" of showers across the country as we enter August. And, thankfully, temperatures will fall to normal for the time of year.

A Met Eireann spokesman said: "As we get into August, kids will have to stay indoors as rain spells are expected. Umbrellas that have been used to keep us in the shade will be needed to keep the rain off."
