Warsteiner reports continued growth.

Warsteiner Importers Agency announced record-setting beer sales for both the second quarter and the first half of 1992.

According to the importer, Warsteiner sales rose 57 percent during the first six months in 1992 when compared to the same period a year earlier. Sales in the second quarter were up 53 percent.

"Incredibly strong sales during the first six months of 1992 have kept us in the position of being the fastest-growing major import beer in the U.S. marketplace," explained Warsteiner president Diane Fall. "Obviously, we are pleased and excited with our results. It is clear the discriminating American beer consumer continues to appreciate the fine quality of the number-one selling beer in Germany."

Fall added that draught sales of Warsteiner increased 51 percent during the second quarter over the previous year's results.
