Warship visits city for Armed Forces Day.
TOMORROW is Armed Forces Day.
Armed Forces Day is a chance for the public to show support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community: from currently serving troops to Service families, veterans and cadets.
Events are taking place across South Wales during the week but tomorrow there will be a day of celebrations in Porthcawl from noon.
Royal Navy warship HMS Dragon is making a special visit to South Wales this weekend and ready to welcome visitors.
The Type 45 Destroyer is due to arrive at Cardiff this morning for the crew to visit Caerphilly and attend the Armed Forces Day ceremonies tomorrow morning. The Portsmouth-based ship is open to the public for tours on board on Sunday from 10am to 4pm. Tickets need to be booked on the Eventbrite website.
Stagecoach will be offer free travel to armed forces personnel carrying a military ID card and to veterans carrying a veteran's badge.
