Warriors capture hooker Jaba.

WORCESTER have announced the signing of Georgia World Cup hooker Jaba Bregvadze.

Bregvadze, who has won 32 caps, will link up with his new team-mates ahead of next Saturday's Aviva Premiership game against Gloucester.

He was involved in Georgia's recent World Cup encounters against Tonga, Namibia and Argentina, helping them secure a third-place pool finish that guaranteed qualification for the 2019 tournament in Japan.

Bregvadze has been with French giants Toulouse for the last three seasons.

Worcester rugby director Dean Ryan said: "Jaba is an experienced international who will add strength and depth to our front-row. He will add more competition for the number two shirt, while being able to drive standards of some of our younger players in what is a key area."
