Warren Gaddis.

The celebration and blessing of the marriage uniting Gabrielle Lee Warren and Michiel Carter Gaddis took place at six o'clock in the evening on June 17, 2006, at Forest Baptist Church in Forest. Dr. Gordon Sansing officiated at the double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Lee Warren Jr. of Forest. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Margaret Ann Warren, the late Mr. Thomas Lee Warren Sr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. George Lewis Driskell, all of Forest.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michiel Chadwick Gaddis of Forest. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lavell Gaddis Sr. of Forest and Mrs. Herbert Byron Carter Jr. and the late Mr. Herbert Byron Carter Jr. of Van Vleet.

Nuptial music was presented by Cindy Greer and Karen Tutor, pianists; Dianne Cox, organist; Anne Mason and Kristen Tutor, violinists; and Jessica Mansell, vocalist. The Scripture was read by Paula Freeman. The wedding was under the direction of Norma Ruth Lee. Registry attendants were Christy Orr and Misty Ellington. Guests were greeted by Mr. and Mrs. David Tadlock.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a Paloma Blanca designer gown of natural Paloma satin, which was also worn by her sister. The strapless and fitted bodice featured bands of crystal beading. The A-line skirt and chapel-length train had a satin border accented with a delicate band of crystal and pearl beading. The bride chose an elbow-length veil of silk illusion and rhinestone tiara. She wore blue topaz and diamond earrings, a wedding gift from the groom, and a diamond and sapphire bracelet that once belonged to the groom's grandmother. The bridal bouquet was a Victorian hand-tied cluster of fuchsia roses.

Suzanne Eichelberger served her sister as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jill Bell, Chasity Blackburn, Hilary Craddock, Kristen Driskell, Holly Escue, Sally Swearengen, Char'Lesa Tadlock, Greggina Tadlock, Tracy Wilkerson, and Haley Wooten. Attendants wore ensembles of turquoise peau de sole satin. Katelyn Gaddis, daughter of the groom, served as flower girl.

Mike Gaddis, father of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Ben Craddock, Lance Eichelberger, Bill Freeman, Brad Thompson, John Weatherford, Chris Weeks, Watt Whatley, Richard Wilkerson, Dean Wilson, and Michiel Dean Wilson. John Driskell served as ring bearer. Colby Gaddis, son of the groom, carried the Bible that once belonged to the late Mrs. Hettie Driskell, grandmother of the bride.

Following the wedding, a reception was hosted by the bride's parents in Trinity Hall at Forest Baptist Church. On the eve of the wedding, the parents of the groom hosted an elegant rehearsal dinner in Trinity Hall.

After a wedding trip to Maul, the couple is at home in Forest.
