Warner Home Video Unveils the 10th Installment of ''What's New Scooby-Doo?'' with Volume 10 Monstrous Tails on DVD December 5.

BURBANK, Calif. -- Monsters abound, but have no fear, Scooby-Doo's around when Warner Home Video (WHV) releases "What's New Scooby-Doo? Volume 10: Monstrous Tails" on DVD December 5. This installment of the ever so popular Scooby-Doo franchise will retail at $19.96 SRP.

This tenth volume of "What's New Scooby-Doo?" features four television episodes plus one bonus fifth episode. In "Uncle Scooby and Antarctica," the gang flies to the South Pole to fish for clues in hopes of hooking an amphibious menace, while in "Block-Long Hong Kong Terror," they head north to the Orient and toy around in a giant water ducky to cool off a ferocious Chinese fire-shooting dragon. Back down under in Australia's Great Barrier Reef, artist Shaggy enters a sand castle contest in "Great Reef," but a yucky coral creature threatens to wash away his dreams of Camelot. With all those monsters, the gang's glad to be back in their old Kentucky home - Fort Knox, to be exact - in "Gold Paw," until a golden ghoul turns everything it touches into statues with its gold finger. The bonus fifth episode, "A Terrifying Round with a Menacing Clown," is also included.

"What's New Scooby-Doo?" carries on the rich tradition of the world famous cartoon, which has entertained millions of fans for many years. The franchise has sold over 3.1 million units life-to-date. Scooby-Doo's awareness level and DVD purchase interest rank ahead of "SpongeBob Squarepants," "Lilo & Stitch," "Jimmy Neutron" and "Fairly Odd Parents." On television, Scooby-Doo reaches more than 27 million people each month, including over 13 million kids aged 2-11.
