Ward woes; Yourview.

I WAS surprised to see the article about Glasgow's Yorkhill Children's Hospital being run down.

If this is true then it is a travesty. Many parents are grateful to this hospital and the magnificent work they do.

The nurses and other staff could not be more friendly and helpful.

They are heroes and should be respected for their care and attention to the children who come in day-after-day, year-after-year.

I am eternally grateful to them because my grandaughter receives treatment for her brittle bones at the hospital and they have been wonderful.

So to all the penpushers, I would ask them to leave the ones who can do the job properly to get on with it and don't run it down.

Leave it to continue lifting the spirits of all who attend or visit this wonderful place.
