Want to work with Mickey and Pluto?; JOBS & NEW DIRECTIONS.

JOBCENTRE PLUS is offering French-speaking people from Coventry and Warwickshire the opportunity to work with Donald Duck and Dumbo as hundreds of jobs at Disneyland Paris go on offer through their national network of offices.

Temporary and permanent vacancies for reception work including front desk, luggage service and parking, as well as jobs working in fast food outlets and other more traditional catering positions in kitchens, bars and dining rooms.

Contracts start in March 2004 with short term posts lasting a minimum of three months between March and October. Interviews are being held in London on Monday March 22 and Manchester on Tuesday March 23.

Lorraine Morris, EURES adviser for Jobcentre Plus who is coordinating Disneyland Paris recruitment in the West Midlands, said: "Jobcentre Plus has worked closely with Disneyland Paris for several years to assist them to recruit the staff they need to deal with more than 13 million visitors to their theme park every year.

"Successful applicants must be a minimum of 18 years old and will benefit from subsidised accommodation with meals provided on duty and will work for 35 hours a week although overtime is available. It is essential that they have a good knowledge of conversational French and this will be tested at their interview."

Lorraine added: "Previous customer service experience is preferred but full training will be given. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who is looking for a job with a difference and I would urge interested applicants to get in touch with me straight away."

Anyone interested in the vacancies can call Lorraine on 0121 452 5410 or e-mail her at
